New South Wales Police Minister David Campbell is leading a push for people from multicultural backgrounds to join the police force.
Police will today hold an open day at the Cabramatta PCYC, aimed at recruiting officers from diverse backgrounds.
Mr Campbell says 76 countries are already represented as the place of birth for serving officers in the state.
