He attacked Hurriyet’s prominent columnist Bekir Coskun for having written “If elected, Abdullah Gul cannot be my president” and said, “This is a shameful statement. I have the right to tell people who think this way to first give up their Turkish citizenship and go elsewhere where they can call other people ‘my president’.”
