VIC: more sudanese crime

Despite police reluctance to attribute the death to gang-related activity or racial tensions in the area, at least two police officers have been injured in confrontations with African groups in the last 10 days.

Last week, a policewoman was bitten by an injured African man she was trying to assist while a policeman suffered a broken nose in a rock-throwing incident…

Other recent gang incidents include;

A WILD brawl involving Sudanese men at Noble Park rail station recently which left a policeman with a broken nose.

A 64-YEAR-OLD man was kicked and bashed and stole his bag and phone at the Noble Park rail station in March.

A RADIO director was attacked on a train by three Sudanese men after telling them to stop swearing.
